Guangzhou lighting opening screen LED civilian products prices are falling

On the morning of June 9, the four-day 17th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition was grandly opened at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Pazhou). As the world's leading and most comprehensive lighting industry feast, the world's top 500 lighting and LED companies gather here. This exhibition was held concurrently with Guangzhou International Building Electrical Technology Exhibition.

The pavilion covers decorative lighting brand pavilion, professional lighting brand pavilion, electric light accessory hall, LED light source and lighting brand pavilion, LED substrate and equipment hall, and Asian flat panel display hall. The special "Asia LED Exhibition" area highlights the strategic new industry highlights, with more than 1,800 LED companies covering the entire industry chain of LED upstream, midstream and downstream to applications. The new "Asia Flat Panel Display" zone will allow display assemblers and manufacturers to showcase their advanced display application technologies to industry, trade buyers, end users, and government agencies. The “Solar Technology Exhibition” area debuted, and hundreds of exhibiting companies all came from Europe and the United States, bringing advanced technology and new energy concepts to China.

LED residential lighting products can completely replace energy-saving lamps

The 2012 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition brings together the latest products, technologies and concepts in the current lighting market. This year, all major companies have promoted the LED products as the main products, which has led the trend of the entire lighting industry.

This year, the international lighting giants Philips, Osram and other LED products are still mainly based on commercial lighting, showing only a small number of civilian products; GE released the latest two LED commercial lighting products this year, but did not show civilian products. Shangyu Lighting has made a new breakthrough in LED residential lighting. A 7W bulb is only available for 100 yuan.

This year's LED civilian products have more features in the function, cold light, warm light, and some can even adjust the color of the light.

Industry insiders predict that LED will enter the civilian market on a large scale in the past one or two years. At present, the price of LED products is 2-3 times that of energy-saving lamps, but it is more energy-efficient and has a longer service life. The price of LED products will also decline in this field of competition.
