The feedback speed of the CTP process is fast. But now that CTP is used for publication, it can be revised in a short period of time so that the progress of production is not affected. 2. Technical optimization

1. The actual print resistance of ordinary ps plates is about 20,000 to 30,000. At present, the test durability of Kodak t98 plates can reach 400,000. To a certain extent, a lot of cost savings.

2. The CTP technology is more conducive to the restoration of files, the network level is clearer, the performance is more accurate, and it provides the possibility of making a good FM network. From the feedback of the printing workshop, the printing workers are deeply touched by the reduction of CTP. They reflect that the level of the dots is well maintained, which is conducive to their color control during printing.

The controllability of the CTP process is very high, because it has high reducibility, and there are corresponding instruments to measure and monitor the plate material, and the data is strong, so that the entire printing color management can be completely realized, from the printing of digital manuscripts to ps The output of the plate material, and then the control of the color of the printed sheet, each step can use the corresponding data to speak, which is more convincing and scientific.

From the analysis of the current job output through CTP, there are mainly the following characteristics:

1. For products with large volume, high requirements and strict control, take the company with the most CTP publications as an example. A color box construction order requires 450,000 finished products and the number of printed sheets reaches 125,700. If the calculation is based on the print resistance of 20,000 to 30,000 traditional ps plates, 5 to 6 sets of plates are required. In the end, in the case of CTP publishing, a total of 3 sets were published. Since the printing workshop is currently in the adaptation stage for CTP plates, the print durability is only a conservative estimate. Take the Kodak t98 edition material used now as an example, its test durability can reach 400,000 sheets. In addition, the CTP output method itself can't restore the files, which is unmatched by traditional printing, so for such lists, the CTP process is imperative. Some of the company's other products require finished products above 10,000 and printed sheets exceeding 5,000.

Second, it has advantages for products with tight delivery time, or in the case of tight production cycle arrangements. Because in the company's traditional film printing process, the pre-release film is outgoing and requires a certain amount of time. Since the trial of the CTP process, it has great advantages in the accuracy and speed of feedback information. For example, a magic box construction slip was originally produced by a traditional film process. In the production of the printing workshop, the customer was not satisfied with the effect and requested to re-release the film. The reason is that the trapping and overprinting were not handled properly during the production of the traditional film, so some text leakage occurred. Since the customer took the sample to see the sample, it would take some time to re-exit the film. Therefore, it was transferred to CTP for publication and after the corresponding trapping work and timely adjustment were made to the missing text part, the final customer completed the signing and expressed satisfaction with the final effect. .

Third, for products with strict printing requirements, CTP has more advantages in printing reduction and accuracy than traditional film processes. For example, the printing box of an electronic company ’s aircraft box has a very large size, and the process department reflects the outgoing quality of the film. The large size of the film is difficult to guarantee. Usually, the film needs to be redone 2 to 3 times, which affects the production cycle and reduces Work efficiency, so it is converted to CTP process, in the recent mass production; in the case of good customer signing on the machine to achieve customer satisfaction.

Fourth, for comprehensive customers, customers who have high requirements on product technology and product quality management have advantages. The use of CTP process control is the basis, and can provide the corresponding information that customers need in a timely manner through process software and color management software, which better guarantees the quality of printing services.

Although the characteristics of the current CTP output operation all reflect some project advantages, but because the company's overall prepress system has just been established and the overall prepress awareness is insufficient, the current CTP project trial operation is not perfect.
