The most important aspect of the flanging process is the angle of the flanging. The average person thinks that the flanging 90° is the most ideal. Generally speaking, it is more suitable for the angle between the flange and the barrel body to be 105°~110°. The reason for this is mainly because of the following reasons.
The angle of 90° is often deformed by bumping during the process turnover, so that the angle of some parts is less than 90°. During the sealing process, the edge of the flange cannot be tightly combined with the bottom edge of the barrel, which is prone to false roll quality. Problem; even in the case of no bump deformation, in the crimping seal, due to the pressure of the clamping discs on both sides, the 90° cuff side is often tilted up to form an angle of less than 90°, thus forming a full circle of false Volume phenomenon. However, the angle greater than 90° is not easily damaged and deformed in the collision, and can be tightly combined with the bottom edge of the barrel under the action of the sealing platen, so that a more reliable sealing can be achieved, and the false roll phenomenon is less likely to occur.
3, uneven edge
In the production practice, the unevenness of the flanging is also more common. The main performance is that the width of the flange is different in the whole circumference of the barrel. Some parts are wide and some parts are narrow. If the width is higher than the bottom edge of the barrel. 4. Mechanical damage at the flange
