Fountain solution testing

Printing presses and dampening system work under normal conditions to stabilize printing materials (plate, paper, ink)
Prepare dampening solution according to supplier's requirements

1. After the start of printing, the machine enters the normal state after a period of time, and then gradually reduces the flow of the fountain solution until the printing appears dirty, and its critical value is recorded. Then, the value set by the fountain roller at this time is increased by 1/4 to ensure that the flow rate of the fountain solution is above the critical point. If the value of the added fountain roller is more than 70% of the maximum value, the surface dampening solution is unacceptable because it is necessary to leave 30% of room for continuous printing.
2. Do not fall into the water roller, print the full version on the ground, and then drop the water roller to print. If the printing exceeds 50 printing, the effect of normal printing cannot be achieved. The fountain solution is considered unqualified, and the fountain solution needs to be re-formulated or replaced. (Note the number of prints that can meet the requirements)
3. Normal printing, stopping for 10 minutes halfway, and then printing. Similarly, if over 50 printing still cannot achieve the effect of normal printing, it is considered that the fountain solution is unqualified and the fountain solution needs to be re-formulated or replaced. Change to another plate material (other conditions remain unchanged), and then perform the above test, make a comparison, we can judge the wetting properties of the two plates.
