New hot filling bottle caps are more environmentally friendly, healthier and safer

AP-Lok is an unlined bottle cap whose sealing structure is integrated with the cap shell. The improved AP-Lok design using Alcoa Technology has enabled it to have a better sealing mechanism and better performance in the hygienic storage and sealing safety of bottled beverages.

Anti-theft function: AP-Lok has the function of leaking after breaking the ring on the bottle that meets Alcoa standards.

Application: AP-Lok caps have the same height and outside diameter as hot fill caps (HIA), so they can be used under the same cap setting and the same static torque.

Wash hole: AP-Lok has a wash hole function. During the pasteurization process, steam flows through the washing holes and removes residues from the threads of the bottle mouth, thus avoiding mold growth and minimizing the possibility of contamination, thus making the beverage more sanitary.

Indicator: AP-Lok has a marker that indicates the application angle. The mark is located at the beginning of the stripe at the top of the bottle cover, which is a daily check tool and can measure the application angle without opening the bottle cap, thereby simplifying the measurement work. This performance only applies to bottles with indicator marks.

Sealing: AP-Lok seals with 3 sealing points: inner plug, top seal and outer plug. Even if there is a small damage on the bottle mouth, the perfect sealing effect can be achieved.

Consistency of taste: AP-Lok lubricant content can only have 70% of liner caps. The actual amount of lubricant deposited is only one-tenth that of the liner cap, which minimizes the impact on the taste of the beverage and helps maintain the consistency of the beverage flavor.
