However, helium itself is a scarce resource. In addition to the US control over helium gas exports and the use of helium as a strategic reserve resource, the price of helium is high, making the cost of scientific research and production in related fields increase. At home, many research groups have had to put aside many very promising research topics due to the cost of liquid helium. Therefore, how to achieve helium recovery and liquefaction, how to maximize the cost of scientific research and production, has become the top priority of advanced equipment proposition.

In 2013, Quantum Design and GWR and Zaragoza University jointly launched the ATL, a smart liquefier for high-pressure rapid liquefaction. The æ°¦ liquefier can achieve a daily average liquefaction efficiency of 25L under the support of a single GM chiller, making the chiller liquefier efficiency reach an unprecedented height. In addition, its intelligent design and intuitive operating experience are also very friendly to those who have no experience in operating extremely low temperature equipment, simplifying the cumbersome steps of the traditional liquefied liquefier, and has been praised and appreciated by the majority of low temperature users.
Fortunately, at the beginning of this month, Quantum Design reached a milestone in the global ATL 100 package, which will be sent to Stanford University for the liquid helium recovery of the ultra-low temperature ultra-high vacuum STM system.

The GM chiller is the heart of many cryogenic equipment, including the liquefier, and the compressor part of the GM chiller is the heart of the entire GM chiller.
